Sparta Rotterdam faces VVV

Sparta Rotterdam faces VVV in a game from the second round of the Dutch Eredivisie. Let’s look at this match at the Sparta-Stadion Het Kasteel and see what’s going on with these two teams in our winning soccer predictions.

Sparta Rotterdam kicked off their season in the Dutch elite with a very dramatic 2-2 draw against Feyenoord away from home. Sparta had advantage in the result two times, but they were unable to keep their lead and win all of the three points.

Mohammed Rayhi opened the score for Sparta, scoring after a good assist from Bryan Smeets. Feyenoord managed to equalise in the middle of the second half, when Steven Berghuis put the ball in the net for the hosts.

Once again Sparta took advantage, because of Lars Veldwijk’s goal. Until the 95th minute the visitors had a lead in the result, so they were ready to celebrate. The worst thing for Sparta happened in the last seconds of the game, when the Swedish midfielder Sebastian Larsson equalised and saved a point for Feyenoord.

Meanwhile VVV started their season in the best way possible – with a win. Robert Maaskant’s boys hosted RKC Waalwijk at home and won the game with 3-1, despite of conceding the first goal.

RKC Waalwijk got the lead after just 11 minutes of playing, when Hannes Delcroix opened the score. Everything change in the second half, when VVV scored three goals and took the win. The Italian striker Elia Soriano equalised, while Jonathan Opoku made it 2-1 from a penalty kick. The final 3-1 was shaped with Peter van Ooijen’s goal just three minutes before the end.

These are our winning soccer predictions for the Eredivisie clash between Sparta Rotterdam and VVV on Friday. VVV started the campaign in a better way, but Sparta have the home ground advantage here.
