Atalanta – Torino
Atalanta will play their first home game for the season when they face Torino at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo on Sunday. Let’s preview this clash in our sure win prediction today.
This season Atalanta will try to do the same they did during the previous one – finish in the Top 4 and qualify for the Champions League again. The manager Gian Piero Gasperini is doing an amazing job with this team, turning Atalanta to one of the best sides in Italy at the moment. He proved that you don’t always need huge budgets to create a successful team.
Atalanta started the new season in the Calcio with a win. In the first round La Dea visited SPAL and achieved a difficult, but very sweet 3-2 win. The visitors really showed some spirit at the Stadio Paolo Mazza, because after just 26 minutes they were losing the game with 0-2. But Gasperini’s boys showed how good they are, turning the match around with two goals from Luis Muriel and one from Robin Gosens.
Meanwhile Torino kicked off their Serie A campaign with a win as well. The Bulls hosted Sassuolo at the Olimpico and achieved a 2-1 win. Simone Zaza and Andrea Belotti gave Torino a good lead, while Francesco Caputo’s goal for the visitors was not enough for them.
Torino will be a little tired for their next game because during the week they travelled to England to face Wolverhampton Wanderers in Europa League. Sadly for them, they suffered another loss against the Wolves and left the competition. Andrea Belotti scored at the Molineux, but Wolverhampton once again scored one more than them.
That’s our sure win prediction today for the Serie A fixture between Atalanta and Torino on Sunday. We think that the hosts are favourites here, but let’s see.
